Welcome to Green Class!
A few of the pictures that have been sent in since Green class have started using Seesaw for Home Learning. We've had den building, egg parachutes, self-portraits to describe us as a reader and we even had some baking thrown into the mix among the Maths, Reading and Writing activites too.
I have been immensely proud of everyone in Green class and especially those who were logging in day in, day out to complete their activities.
Keep it up, stay safe and take care!
During the week of 'Half Term' the village of Sudbury (and Great Cornard the week before) took part in creating displays about animals (and dinosaurs) in order to help raise money for Colchester Zoo. The displays served as a great excuse to get outside and complete daily exercise as you were also provided a map to help you and your family search for the animals and see what everyone had created. Some were extremely detailed and some were more subtle in approach but the two events have raised nearly £1000 for Colchester Zoo so far. What animals would you and your family create if the area you live in was to do this? Would you pick one, like Mr Anderson's family, or two or three like others have done?
Tree Planting with Green Class
The children had a fantastic morning and learned how to plant a tree, daffodil bulbs and crocus bulbs.
We discussed and made links to our R.E. topic of the Creation Story and looking after God's world and how we could use the planting of our tree and flowers to support our learning.
A great effort by all involved, well done Green Class
Well done to all those who have sent in their photos in school uniform for Uniform day. It has been lovely to see the efforts you have gone to and hope you have enjoyed taking fun photos in your school uniform.
Keep safe everyone and take care.
