Sports Day!

Sports Day 2021!

We had the most wonderful sports day, despite the weather being a little grey. We would have loved to have all the parents with us too...but we all had an amazing time nonetheless. We sprinted, jumped, hopped, dribbled, skipped, stilt-walked and cheered very loudly for our team mates.

Welcome to Osan Class Page!

We have been ever so busy since we've all been back at school.

We are reading Matilda as a class and just can't wait everyday to find out what terrible thing the Trunchbull will do next.

We are looking at Fairy Tales and have explored the story of 'Little Red' (by Bethan Woolovin). We're now reading, exploring, re-telling and acting out the story of 'Jack and the Bean Stalk'. We've thought a lot about how we can write exciting story openers and how to describe a setting.

We have been working hard on thinking about all the different ways that we can solve addition problems and about which methods are speedy, reliable and make good use of the knowledge we already have (like our bonds to ten and twenty).

We've been learning to sign along to a song called 'It's OK (Please Just Say)' whilst humming the tune. We've talked a lot about how music makes us feel and how it can be written down in it's own special musical language.

In Science, we are beginning to learn about 'Plants'. We've started by planting our own beans in plastic wallets. Maybe if we're lucky they'll grow all the way up to the sky and we'll find a hen that lays golden eggs at the top! We're excitedly awaiting to first shoots and roots.

It's really great to have everyone back!
