Religious Education
We are a Church of England school and this is a big part of our curriculum. A St James' child values the fruits of the spirit in everything they do.

The fruits of the spirit are;

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness & Self-control

How do you show the fruits of the spirit?

Curriculum Maps
Take a look at our half-termly curriculum maps to see the key skills we are learning...

Busy Learning

In our classroom environments, both inside and outside, we have lots of fun activities.

These activities cover all areas of the EYFS curriculum.

We complete these independently and we call this "busy learning."

Our topic this autumn half term is...

Our new spring term topic is...

Going Places

Each week we are going to explore different modes of transport e.g. bus, boat, train

What is your favourite way to travel and why?
Look at the picture below and discuss what you can see...

We have started 'Talk for Writing'
This is when we learn actions to support our story telling and use new vocabulary.
We are exploring the book 'Rosie's Walk'
