Rouge Family Flag
We made a flag as a whole class demonstrating important values to us. We refer to this flag throughout the day to help us be kind to our friends and work as a team.
Development Matters is the tool we use to plan and assess in Early Years. Please explore the document and the expectations for your child's age.
Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum
The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS) is made up of 3 prime areas and 4 specific areas.
Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED)
Communication and Language (C&L)
Understanding of the World (UoW)
Expressive Arts and Design (EAD)
Here are a few pictures of our classroom environment...
We are a Church of England school and this is a big part of our curriculum. A St James' child values the fruits of the spirit in everything they do.
The fruits of the spirit are;
Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness & Self-control
How do you show the fruits of the spirit?
Take a look at our half-termly curriculum maps to see the key skills we are learning...
I wonder which topic is your favourite and why?
In our classroom environments, both inside and outside, we have lots of fun activities.
These activities cover all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
We complete these independently and we call this "busy learning."
Our topic this autumn half term is...
Look at some of the amazing activities we have been doing in Rouge class.
During this period of school closure I will be uploading work to Tapestry each day.
I hope you have lots of fun completing the work and I look forward to seeing this!
Take care and stay safe :)

What are the three little pigs houses made from?
What materials can you see in the picture?
