Sports Day 2021
It was odd to have sports day without Mum's and Dad's but we all had a great time and really enjoyed the activities.
Well done Sari Class for all showing great sportsmanship to each other.
Eco Day June 2021
We had lots of fun on our Eco Day. We planted seeds, created posters and made fruit kebabs. Some of the children even tried fruit they hadn't tried before. Well done Sari Class.
Animal Facemasks
Last week in art we created animal facemasks.
Below is a photograph of us on the field showing off our masks.
African Art
In Art we created an African sunset and used silhouettes of animals to decorate.
We were very proud of our artwork.
English
In English our book is Jack and the Beanstalk. Do you like our beanstalk and castle?
Fabric
We have been looking at different fabrics and how we use them. Today we tried to make hair out of different fabrics, both in school and at home. Here are some of our great fabric hairstyles.
Kindness
As part of Advent, and our fruits of the spirit, we have been thinking a lot about kindness and how we can show kindness to each other. With this in mind we have created a kindness wall, and the children tell an adult when someone has been kind to them and we record it on the wall for them. We are hoping to have 50 acts of kindness by Christmas.
Nativity
We have been having a great time rehearsing for the year 2 nativity play with Yellow Class. We cannot wait for you all to be able to see it on the webpage soon.
English
This week we had great fun building lighthouses ready for writing our instructions later in the week. Look at the amazing lighthouses we built.
English
This week in English we really enjoyed making, and eating, jam sandwiches. This is part of our work on instruction writing.
Weekly Puzzle Challenge
Sari Class - History Entry Point
On Monday 21st September Sari Class dressed up as famous people of the past. We heard lots of amazing facts from the children about the people they were dressed as.
Some pictures of the children are shown below.
Well done everyone, it was a great day.
